Destin Allen-Fox - LHP

Allen-Fox a left-handed pitcher out of Alpine California attended Santana HS. He just wrapped up his freshman season at California State University, Northridge. Allen-Fox started five games out of his nine appearances for CSUN last season. Destin pitched to a 4.41 ERA over 16.1 innings last season for the Matadors. 


Jake Tirk- RHP

Tirk, a right-handed pitcher out of Novato attended Novato HS before going to College of Marin. In his two seasons for the Mariners, he pitched to a 4.40 ERA over 31 games. In a stellar sophomore season, Tirk struck out 109 hitters in 78 innings before transferring to the University of Hawaii. The righty spent last summer with the Battle Creek Battle Jacks of the Northwoods League. Tirk when asked about playing in Sonoma said, “I’m just excited to be home, get to have my family watching my games, and playing with my friends”



Brady boyd- Inf/OF

Boyd has just started his freshman season at Westmont College in Santa Barbara. Brady has appeared in 10 games this season for the Warriors. He picked up his first collate home run early this month against Hope International. In high school, Boyd batted .293 and tallied five home runs during his three years on the Cardinal Newman varsity team. Boyd talked about picking up his first collegiate hit, “It was great to get that first barrel out of the way it calmed the nerves a little bit.”

Cuyler zukowski- Outfielder

Zukowski, a redshirt freshman, is hitting .243 with three home runs this season. He picked up his first college hit in the season opener vs Coppin State. Zukowski said it was a special experience “getting that first one under his belt”. The Blue Jay outfielder attended La Follette High School where he started all four seasons and took home Second Team All-State, All-Southwest District, All-Big 8 Conference, and All-City honors his sophomore year. Cuyler is excited about a new experience this summer with the Stompers, “I've never been to California before. So I really wanted to see a new part of the country. That is the reason I wanted to go. I know I'll spend all of my time playing baseball… but just being out there and experiencing it. I’m really excited”.

Jack lazark- rhp/ss

Lazark will join the Stompers from just up the road in Santa Rosa. He attended Cardinal Newman HS and is currently a freshman at Santa Clara University. The two-way player picked up his first collegiate strikeout last month against UMBC. Jack is excited to contribute as both a hitter and pitcher this upcoming summer. Jack is excited to be back playing in front of friends and family. When asked about playing with old Cardinal Newman teammates, “It’s gonna be awesome. I looked around after high school and thought these are my best buddies for life… those were the guys that I built my best memories with it's gonna be a blast to relive that.”

Justice brinson- catcher

Another Cardinal Newman standout, is currently redshirting his freshman season at Azusa Pacific. The catcher thrived in high school, hitting over .300 his junior year and had 20 RBIs over his two years on the Cardinals varsity team. Brinson is excited to play in front of the Sonoma community, especially his family “I'm excited to be able to play in front of my grandpa and the rest of my family. They haven't been able to see much lately.”

jack scheri- infielder

Scheri is a redshirt freshman from Peru, Illinois. Scheri played high school ball at La Salle-Peru where he lettered in both baseball and basketball. The Creighton infielder was ranked as Illinois’ No. 4 ranked shortstop in the class of 2022 by both Prep Baseball Report and Perfect Game. Scheri has not seen the field in the first week of the season for the Jays. When asked about this upcoming summer Jack was excited to be playing in Sonoma, “ I’m excited for a different lifestyle. The west coast is very different than the midwest. The weather first of all, the weather is nicer. It's just different out there than being in the midwest”.

andrew bonfigli- catcher/infielder

Bonfigli is one of the youngest players on the roster, currently rounding out his senior year of high school at Sonoma Valley High School. After a standout junior season, he committed to the University of San Francisco in December. Andrew is excited to start a new chapter for USF in the fall, but his first priority is the summer. Getting the opportunity to represent Sonoma over the summer is a dream come true for Bonfigli, the Stompers are in his blood, “It's a full circle moment, I've been wearing that Stompers sweatshirt since fourth grade, and I was rockin my Stompers hat…whatever I aspire to be and want to do is really cool that I get to represent the Stompers. It’s a dream come true”
