SONOMA, Calif- Not only is Saturday, August 17 Bocce Night at Palooza Park at Arnold Field but the first 200 fans that arrive at the park will receive a Nick Barnese signed baseball card! Gates open at 5:35 PM with first pitch is at 6:05PM.
If you don’t make it in time as one the first 200 fans to arrive at Palooza Park at Arnold field, don’t worry! Just be sure to participate in the in-between inning games for a chance to win one, or bring a glove or ball to have Barnese sign it after the game!
Barnese is in his ninth season of professional baseball and his first with the Sonoma Stompers, He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 2007 MLB draft. Last season with the Pittsburgh Diamonds, Barnese compiled 37 strikeouts in 34.2 innings pitch.
Through seven years in the Rays farm system, Barnese went 31-23 with a 3.37 ERA and 409 strikeouts over 478.1 innings.
